Thyristors - SCRs - Modules

Thyristors, SCRs (Silicon-Controlled Rectifiers), and modules are semiconductor devices used in power electronics for control and conversion of electrical power. They are unidirectional devices that allow current to flow in one direction but block it in the other. Thyristors are triggered by a voltage pulse, while SCRs are triggered by a current pulse. Modules combine multiple thyristors or SCRs into a single package, offering high power handling capacity and compact design. These components are widely used in applications such as motor control, lighting systems, heating and cooling systems, and power supplies.
