Inside Our Incoming Quality Inspection Process

Every lot that reaches our warehouse floor passes through a documented, multi-step inspection process before it's cleared to ship to a customer. The process is the same regardless of order size — a five-piece sample order gets the same scrutiny as a full-reel production order, because the downstream risk to the customer doesn't scale down just because the quantity does.

The first step is visual inspection under magnification, checking for re-marking, resurfacing, or physical damage. Next is date-code and lot-code verification against manufacturer records and, where available, direct confirmation with the source. Higher-risk categories — obsolete analog parts and anything sourced outside our primary authorized lines — get sample electrical testing against datasheet parameters before the lot is cleared.

Every step is logged against the original purchase order, so if a question ever comes up months later about a specific shipment, we can pull the full inspection record in minutes.
